Lead waterfall
A lead waterfall is an ordered list of buyers. Each lead is offered to the first buyer; if they decline, it moves to the next, until one accepts, so a lead sells at most once.
An example
A debt relief lead from Texas arrives at 2pm. The waterfall has four buyers. Buyer C gets the lead, and buyer D is never called.
- 1 Buyer ADaily cap reached, skipped
- 2 Buyer BDoes not take Texas, declined
- 3 Buyer CAccepted
- 4 Buyer DNever called
How EventsIQ handles it
Each branch of a routing setup has its own waterfall. A buyer is skipped when it is paused or at its daily cap, and a reply counts as a sale only when it matches the accept rule you set.
